Lacey battled to keep the match close, but a string of three straight victories and Kyle Lynch’s pin of Cody Alvarez at 152 lifted Raritan past the Lions, 36-24, and into the quarterfinals of the Shore Conference Wrestling Tournament on Thursday night at Ocean Township High School.
Lex Knapp remained undefeated for Lacey, earning a 4-0 decision over Nick Rice at 220, and the Lions received pins from Jake Fernandez at heavyweight and Luke Fernandez at 160.
