Lifeguards Wanted In Lacey Township
Lacey Recreation is hiring Beach Patrol members for the summer. Interested applicants must be 16- to 22-years-old.
LACEY, NJ — Got a kid looking for a summer job? The Lacey Township Beach Patrol is hiring for the summer.
The Beach Patrol lifeguards at Bamber Lake Beach, Lake Barnegat Beach, and Cedar Creek Beach that are used for swimming, kayaking and paddle boarding. Lake Barnegat is also home to the Wibit, an inflatable floating obstacle course.
Applicants must be 16- to 22-years-old and have the following qualifications and skills:

- Knowledge and ability to evaluate water conditions at our beaches to determine any potential dangers or hazards
- Swimming proficiency and comfort in all types of water conditions
- Ability to judge and evaluate evolving dynamics of individuals participating in aquatic activities to immediately assess their capabilities and threats to their safety
- Knowledge of on-site protocols, operational procedures, and safety policies
Lifeguards must also have a certified Red Cross Lifeguard Training Certificate or equivalent (includes first aid and CPR).
