'Lived Hard But Loved Harder:' Lacey Man Dies In Motorcycle Crash
Alexander Halsey died 'doing the thing he loved most,' according to his obituary.
BORDENTOWN, NJ — Alexander Halsey died doing what he loved most, according to his obituary: riding his Harley Road Glide motorcycle with his brothers. The Forked River man was pronounced dead at the hospital Saturday after a motorcycle crash in Bordentown, Burlington County, according to police.
Halsey, 45, rode Saturday afternoon with a group of motorcyclists around the Comfort Inn Hotel on Route 206. He lost control of his motorcycle and crashed, police said. The cause of the crash is under investigation.
Halsey was a friend to all, according to his obituary.

"A friend to all, Alex lived HARD, but LOVED Harder," his obituary says. "Alex was known for his infamous nipple pics on other people's phones, a frequenter of Diners, Drive-ins and Dives, photographing all the food porn he ate, and hilarious memes."
Halsey spent his life helping others. As a former officer and member of the Lacey Elks Lodge, he impacted many lives through activities and fundraising. He acted as an escort for the NJ Run for the Fallen, which commemorated him on their homepage.

Halsey was also known for his loud, contagious belly laugh and his mischievous but kind eyes,
"We all wish Alex was making one of his funny or offensive Facebook posts, maybe not the kind that got him in Facebook jail, but the kind that had us laughing or at least rolling our eyes," his obituary says. "The hole he leaves in indescribable but we know that he is now riding hard and looking out for all of us."
