LUMC To Host Car Show

This Saturday, May 11th, the Lacey United Methodist Church will be hosting a Car Show from 9:00am until 2:00pm, in conjunction with jerseyshorecarshows.com . Registration will begin at 8:30am. The cost of registration is $20.00. As of press time, the weather looks good, as it appears to be the only day not to have rain this week. If there is rain, the rain date is scheduled for Saturday, May 25th.

"Big Al" from jerseyshorecarshows.com will be playing your favorite tunes throughout the event. Food will be available for purchase in the church Fellowship Hall. In addition, there will be some vendors present. If you are interested in being a vendor at the event, you must be selling car-related merchandise. In addition, there is a donation fee of $35.00 per parking space for vendors, payable before setting up at the event. Vendors must bring their own tables and chairs. Setup time for vendors is 7:00am.

The cars will be judged in numerous categories by hand-selected judges, not by the owners of the vehicles. 28 Trophies are expected to be handed out as the event winds down. You must be present to win. There will be a" Top 20" category, as well as "Best In Show." Other Trophies will include a "Work In Progress" and a "Most Likely To Get Pulled Over." There will be other fun categories as well.
