LUMC To Host Car Show This Saturday

The Lacey United Methodist Church, located at 203 West Lacey Road in Forked River, will be hosting a Car & Truck Show on Saturday, June 17th from 9:00am until 2:00pm. There is a rain date scheduled for July 1st, if necessary. There is still time to pre-register your vehicles for $15.00. This would have to be done by Friday morning, however. The registration fee is $20.00 on the day of the show. The show is open to all years, makes and models.

Vendors will also be outside during the show. Vendors can register either before the show to guarantee a spot or the day of the show. The vendor fee is $35.00 per parking space. Registration begins at 8:30am. Due to the nature of the show, the vendors will have to move their vehicles to another parking area after they unload.

DJ "Big Al" of www.jerseyshorecarshows.com will be playing your favorite oldies. Food will also be available for purchase inside the LUMC's Fellowship Hall. Volunteers will be directing vendors and show cars as to where they should park. No car can park until registered.

Trophies will be awarded for special categories, which include "Top 20," "Veteran Owned Car" (please let the person registering you know if you are a veteran), "Work In Progress," "Ladies' Choice," "Most Likely To Get Pulled Over," "Pastor's Choice," "Kids' Choice" and "Best In Show."
