Man Found With Nearly 100 Heroin Bags In Lacey Woods: Police
Police found him off Route 9 near the power plant before he tried to flee on foot, authorities said.
LACEY, NJ — Police found a man in the woods with nearly 100 bags of heroin and hypodermic syringes, according to authorities. Corey Heulitt tried fleeing on foot but was caught after a short chase, police said.
Police received a call at 8:08 p.m. Monday for a well-being check on a man reportedly using heroin. Authorities searched the woods off Route 9 near the power plant before they found Heulitt.
He was charged with heroin possession, possession of a hypodermic syringe and resisting arrest. Heulitt also had an outstanding warrant.

Heulitt was jailed in the Ocean County Correctional Facility.
