Man Had Several Drugs, Counterfeit Bills At Lacey 7-Eleven: Cops

The man had Xanax, marijuana and a white, powdery substance, according to police.

LACEY, NJ — Lacey police say they found a man Saturday with counterfeit bills and several drugs at 7-Eleven on 524 Lacey Rd. Kyle Comerford had Xanax, marijuana and a white, powdery substance, according to authorities.

Police were dispatched to the store at 10:38 a.m. Saturday in reference to a counterfeit bill. Comerford, 19, tried paying for a taxi ride with the bill, police said. He also tried to break it inside the store, according to authorities.

During the arrest, police say they found Comerford with several drugs. He was charged with forgery and possession and intent to distribute a controlled dangerous substance. Officials took him to the Ocean County Jail without bail.
