Man Threatened To Kill Lacey Chase Bank Employees, Gets DWI: Cops
After leaving the drive-thru, the man came into the foyer and threatened employees, police said.
LACEY, NJ — A man threatened to kill employees Monday at Chase Bank in Lacey, according to police. Thomas Vance was also arrested for driving while intoxicated, among other charges, authorities said.
Bank staff reported at 1:53 p.m. Monday that after the suspect left the drive-thru, he came into the foyer and threatened them, police said. Officer Jason Lee witnessed him driving "recklessly" from the parking lot, police said.
Vance was pulled over on Eagleswood Avenue and arrested with DWI, police said. He was also ultimately charged with terroristic threats, false public alarm and reckless driving.

Vance, 41, was jailed in the Ocean County Correctional Facility.

Lacey police took reports Tuesday of four separate vehicle burglaries. Four residents in the Oakfield section of Lanoka Harbor reported that their unlocked vehicles were entered during the early-morning hours Monday.
Personal items and cash were stolen. Any local residents with information should contact Det. Brian Flynn.
"During the past few weeks, the Lacey Township Police Department has received numerous reports of car burglaries," Lacey police said in a statement Thursday. "As a reminder, please ensure that your vehicles are locked when not occupied, especially during the overnight hours. Additionally, valuables should not be left inside your vehicles."
