Man Who Stuffed Fishing Reels In His Pants Also Facing Drug Charges: Cops
Lacey police arrested Nicholas Hernandez, 20, of Manahawkin in the Lacey Walmart.

A Manahawkin man who stole two fishing reels from the Lacey Walmart and stuffed them down the front of his pants is also facing drug charges, Police Chief David Paprota said.
Officer Jesse Dalziel responded to Walmart on Route 9 North in Lanoka Harbor on a shoplifting report at 1:10 p.m. on April 26. The store's loss prevention employee reported that he saw a man remove two fishing reels from their displays and conceal them down the front of his pants. Nicholas P. Hernandez, 20, Beach Lane, then tried to leave the story without paying, the chief said.
Hernandez was arrested for shoplifting. Hernandez was also found to be in possession of marijuana, a glass smoking pipe and drug paraphernalia, Paprota said.
