Marguerite T. Considine Of Forked River Dies At 76

Services for patient activities director of several nursing homes will be held on Monday and Tuesday.



Marguerite T. Considine (nee Barclay) 76, of Forked River passed away on Thursday, July 30, 2015 at Ocean Medical Center in Brick.


Mrs. Considine was born in New York and lived in Washington Heights, New York before moving to Forked River in 1971. She worked as the patient activities director for the Bayview Convalescent Center and the Tinton Falls Convalescent Center for more than 23 years. Her dedication to her profession and the residents she cared for was remarkable.

Marguerite was a communicant of St. Pius X R.C. Church in Lacey Township. Her greatest joy in life was spending time with her three beloved children and seven grandchildren, whom she loved and adored more than life itself.

She enjoyed spending time at the beach, taking family vacations to her most cherished place on earth, Siesta Key, Florida and creating wonderful memories for her family, filled with love, laughter and tradition.

Mrs. Considine is predeceased by her husband of 15 years Robert J., sister Elizabeth Fay, and brother John Barclay. She is survived by her three children, Robert and his wife Deborah, Catherine and her husband Christopher Fitzgerald and Marie and her husband Nicolas Musmanni and seven grandchildren, Bobby, Maddie and Jack Considine, Megan and Ryan Fitzgerald and Mateo and Sofia Musmanni. She is also survived by many loving family members and friends. Marguerite will be missed dearly by so many.

A viewing will be held from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Monday, Aug.t 3, 2015 and again on Tuesday from 9 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. at Riggs Funeral Home, 130 Route 9 North. A funeral Mass will be offered at 10 a.m. at St. Pius X R.C. Church, 300 Lacey Road. Interment will follow at Good Luck Cemetery, Haines Street, in Lanoka Harbor.
