Nancy M. Clark, 82, of Forked River, was greeted by angels early Friday morning, October 30, 2015.

She was born and raised in Newark and attended Westside High School. As a young girl she met her loving husband, Richard J. Clark, who she was married to for 62 years. She was a loving and supportive wife and mother to her three children: Lorraine Day, Patricia Trustan, and John Clark.

She was blessed to have a very close and caring family and in addition to her children she is survived by her son-in-law, Michael Day, daughter-in-law, Janis Clark, and grandchildren, Michael, Rebecca, Brian, Matthew, Jill, Linda, and Johnathon, and great-grandchildren, Nathan and Riley.

Through the years she serviced the church of St. Pius as a Eucharist minister and the community as a member of the women’s club. She enjoyed quilting and sewing and creating beautiful projects for family and friends. She was an amazing listener and always offered unconditional acceptance. She enriched all of the lives she touched and we will miss her dearly until the day we meet again.

Visitation will be from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 5 at the Layton’s Home for Funerals, Forked River. The funeral will be held at 9:30 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 6t at St. Pius Church. Burial will follow at the Brigadier General William C. Doyle Memorial Cemetery in Arneytown, North Hanover Township.
