New Date Set For Annual Lacey Day
An excess of rain made conditions at Gille Park impossible for Lacey Day on Sept. 30, but a new date has been scheduled:
LACEY, NJ — Lacey Day did not go on as scheduled on Sept. 30 due to the amount of rain the area had received.
"With the extreme amount of rain our area has received over the past week, the conditions of the field and park will not be feasible to get Lacey Day in this week," Lacey Recreation announced.
But no need to fret - Lacey Day will still be held this year. It's been rescheduled to Oct. 14.

It runs from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. at Gille Park.

The food trucks expected for this year are:
- Snow Chi
- German Butcher
- Tomatoes Pizza
- Ron's Lickety Split Ice Cream
- Tom and Dee's Italian Ice
And then, make sure to stick around afterwards. A haunted trail starts at 6 p.m. also in Gille Park.
