Paper Shredding Program Sets Return To Lacey
Safely shred your personal documents in Lacey Township on Sept. 17.
LACEY, NJ — Looking to get rid of personal documents in a secure manner? The Ocean County Document Shredding Program is heading to Lacey on Sept. 17.
The program is free and there is no need to register. Any Ocean County resident can go to any of the locations. The county asks that you only bring paper documents with your social security number or active accounts on them. If you're not sure what is acceptable to bring, you can take the quiz here.
Events will run the full time or until the truck is full. No commercial papers are accepted. Only paper will be accepted in a maximum of five file boxes or clear bags. Residents must stay in their vehicles at all times.

Sept. 17: Lacey Township Recycling Center Parking Lot, 820 Municipal Ln., 9 a.m.-noon

Oct. 1: Ship Bottom Municipal Boat Ramp, West 10th St. and Shore Ave., 9 a.m.-noon
Oct. 15: Brick Township Public Works Lot, 836 Ridge Rd., 9 a.m.-noon
Oct. 22: Beachwood Municipal Complex Parking Lot, 1600 Pinewald Rd., 9 a.m.-noon
