Patricia Ann Heeley Of Forked River Dies At 54

Patricia Ann Heeley, 54, of Forked River, died peacefully on October 7, 2014.

She was born on Saint Patrick’s Day in the Toms River Maternity Home in Toms River. She was a graduate of Central Regional High School.

She attended Ocean County College, Brookdale Community College and then Trenton State College and earned a degree in Early Childhood Development, specializing in human growth and development and special education. She taught at St Francis Learning Center in Long Beach Island for 12 years.

She was sole owner and operator with the help of a small staff of Kahuna Patty’s Wild Theme Party Rental Company for approximately 14 years in New JerseyJ as well as a tiki store and Theme Party Rental Company in San Diego.

She battled cancer across this country for several years seeking help. When help was no longer working, she chose to Live, Laugh, and Celebrate Life her motto being “Live life with a peace sign in one hand and a brush in the other. Find an Island in your mind.”

Patty is predeceased by her mother Patricia Tillett and her brother, John Tillett. She is survived by her father John Tillett, brother Michael Tillett and his wife Vicky Tillett, sister-In-law Naomi Tillett, nieces and nephews Melanie Jesuele, Michael Tillett, James Tillett, Nicole Tillett, John Tillett, Fredy Martinez, Jessica Martinez, Spouse and her lifetime friend Paul Heeley.

Visiting hours will be Friday, Oct. 10, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Mastapeter Funeral Home, 270 Atlantic City Blvd., Bayville. The funeral is Saturday, 9:30 a.m.in the funeral home before celebrating an 11a.m. funeral Mass at St. Barnabas R.C. Church, Woodland Road, Bayville. Cremation will be private.
