Popcorn Park Zoo Looking For New Home For Displaced Beagle

His elderly owner had to move in with family, but the family would not allow Pepe to come along.

Nine-year-old Pepe’s elderly owner loved him very much. But when his owner had to move in with his family, Pepe was not allowed to come along.

So he’s at the Popcorn Park Zoo in Lacey Township, hoping for a new forever home.

“We promised this kind gentleman that we would take good care of his friend, and find him a loving home,“ according to the Associated Humane Societies/Popcorn Park Zoo‘s Facebook page.

“That is where you come in.....please spread the word for our darling Pepe. Please don’t be put off by Pepe’s age. Although he is a bit overweight, he is very active and absolutely loves to go for walks. Pepe is perfectly behaved and is so friendly and sweet. He is very mellow and easy going, and gets along fine with other dogs that are similar in temperament. He is also fine with cats and people of all ages.”

The little dog would transition easily into a loving home, the page states.
