Public Hearing On Lacey Budget Coming Up On Thursday

Want to sound off on how township officials are spending your money this year?

Then come to the April 23 Township Committee meeting, when officials will hold a public hearing on the 2015 municipal budget. Committee members introduced the budget at the March 27 meeting.

The preliminary total budget this year is $29,118,145, according to the budget document on the Lacey Township website.

The amount to be raised by taxation is $11,616,835. The reserve for uncollected taxes is $1,100,04, based on a 98.5 percent collection rate.,The anticipated surplus this year is $4,200,000.

The meeting starts at 7 p.m. in Town Hall on Lacey Road.
