Public Hearing On Comcast Renewal On Tap For Tonight

Hearing gets underway at 6 p.m. in Town Hall

Residents can have their say at a public hearing tonight on the proposed renewal of Lacey's contract with Comcast Cable Company.

The hearing will begin at 6 p.m. in Town Hall on Lacey Road, Township Clerk Veronica Laureigh said.

"This hearing will be held for the purpose of evaluating the application of Comcast Cable Company for the renewal of its municipal consent to own, operate, extend, and maintain a cable television and cable communications system in the Township of Lacey..." according to the township website.

All interested parties are invited to attend and be heard. Copies of the application are on file in the municipal clerk's office between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, Laureigh said.

Copies are also available at the municipal website at www.laceytownship.org under public documents and the comprehensive plan section.
