Rep. Andy Kim Tests Negative For Coronavirus During Quarantine
Andy Kim self-quarantined after coming into contact with a member of Congress with the novel coronavirus.

WASHINGTON, DC — Andy Kim tested negative for the novel coronavirus, the congressman announced Tuesday. Kim self-quarantined after coming into direct contact with a member of Congress who tested positive for the virus.
“I’ve seen first-hand the stress of waiting for test results, and it shows how absolutely important it is that everyone who needs a test has access,” Kim said in a statement.

Kim had direct contact March 13 with Congressman Ben McAdams in an office, according to Anthony DeAngelo, Kim's spokesperson. McAdams announced last week he tested positive for the virus, prompting Kim to quarantine. Read more: Rep. Andy Kim Quarantines After Contact With Coronavirus Patient
