Rotary Club of Forked River 3rd Annual Chef's Night Out!

The Rotary Club of Forked River Proudly presents their 3^rd Annual Chefs Night Out to be held on Sunday January 29, 2017 at the Captains Inn from 6pm to 9pm .

If you’ve ever felt the urge to channel your inner Julia Child now is the time to do it and do good at the same time!! We are inviting Fellow Rotarians and Community Members to take this opportunity to share their cuisine expertise by participating in this year’s event. With openings for only 35 Chefs de Cuisine, space will fill up quickly. We are expecting a record number of guests this year!! For our Chefs we suggest prepping for 50 guests. Each offering will be served as an amuse-bouche so that all may take a taste!!

Rotary will provide a table set up, including tablecloth, napkins and silverware. Chefs will be required to prep and cook their item off the premises and transport it to the Captains Inn fully prepared for presentation and sampling. It is the Chef’s responsibility to keep all cool items cool and all warm/hot food items at their proper serving temperatures. No cooking is allowed at the Captains Inn the night of the event. Chafers are recommended. Rotary also requires a list of all ingredients to be posted at the point of service so that guests with any dietary restrictions can safely enjoy the various offerings. Chefs will not be compensated for the cost of their signature dish but will receive a complimentary guest ticket for a friend or Sous Chef the night of the event.

Tasting Tickets are $50.00 per person in advance or $60.00 pp at the door. See any Rotarian for your Tasting Ticket to this culinary feast!
