Six File To Run For Two Seats On Lacey Board Of Ed

Two, three-year terms are available

There’s some familiar names and some newcomers on the list of the six people who filed to run for the two available seats on the Lacey Board of Education, according to the Ocean County Clerk’s Office.

The deadline to file for the race in November was July 28.

Former board members James LaTellier, 2521 Smith Road, and James F. Knoeller, 100 Carriage Road, Lanoka Harbor, have filed to run again.

Watchdog Regina Discenza, 233 Sunset Drive, Forked River has also filed to run. Discenza is spearheading the move to recall two board members for their part in the district’s solar project.

Also running are Charles Kennis, 234 Quail Lane North, Lanoka Harbor, David Bidwell, 26 Ernest Drive, Lanoka Harbor, and Robert Klaus II, 743 Oxford Road, Lanoka Harbor.
