Suspect At Large After Robbing Lacey Bank: Police

The suspect covered his face with bandana and demanded money at Kearny Bank, police said.

LACEY, NJ — A male suspect robbed Kearny Bank in Lacey on Wednesday afternoon, police said. The suspect left the bank with cash and headed through a wooded area adjacent to the building, according to police.

Authorities responded to the reported robbery at 630 Route 9 North at about 2:33 p.m. Wednesday. Tellers described the suspect to police as a male, who was 5-foot-8, thin build, wearing dark-colored clothing and covering his face with a bandana.

No weapon was brandished, police said. The suspect left with an undisclosed amount of cash. No vehicle was observed.
