Matthew C. Foulks, 44, accused of shooting gun in Forked River home after dispute

LACEY TOWNSHIP, NJ - The Ocean County Regional SWAT arrested a man who shot a gun in a Spruce Street home after a dispute on Friday night, Police Chief Michael C. DiBella said.

Lacey police responded to the home in the 1200 block of the road at 11:02 p.m. on May 25 on a report of a dispute. The victim, a 47-year-old woman, told police that Matthew C. Foulks, 44, Browns Mills, had fired a gun inside the home after the two had a dispute, the chief said.

When police tried to contact Foulks outside, he refused and went back into the house. It was also determined that no one else was inside the house, DiBella said.
