MONDAY - The Friends of Lacey Library are looking for donations for their annual book sale. Donations for this event will be accepted on Monday and Tuesday from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. The sale will be held on Wednesday and Thursday from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Friday from 9 am to 5 pm.
MONDAY - The Beatles vs. the Rolling Stones - 1963-1969, 7 p.m., Toms River branch of the Ocean County Library, Washington Street, Toms River. Music video collector Spike Priggen presents a mix of live concert and television footage, mimed promotional clips, TV specials and promos, starting with some of their earliest known TV and newsreel appearances and taking them right up to the end of the 60s. SATURDAY - Dune restoration beach grass plantings, Island Beach State Park. Local volunteers will join with representatives from Field and Stream magazine to help restore the dune system damaged by Hurricane Sandy. Program is limited to 150. Registration is required.
