Thomas A. Miller Of Forked River Dies At 73

A Memorial Service for the former longtime Hillside police officer will be held on Tuesday.

Thomas A. Miller, 73, of Forked River, passed away on Friday, Oct. 9, 2015.

He was born in Uniontown, PA and resided in Hillside, NJ before moving to Forked River in 1986. Tom was a police officer in Hillside for 25 years, retiring in 1986 and was an active member of the FOP Hillside Lodge 82. He also owned Thomas Allen Associates in Forked River. Tom served in the U.S. Army and was a member of the Disabled American Veterans, VFW and the American Legion. He was a member of the Lacey Elks.

Tom was predeceased by his wife, Florence Fedorczyk Miller and sisters, Linda Paoletti and Carol Miller. He is survived by his daughter, Lisa Callahan; son-in-law, Steven Hoffman; brothers, Randy and Jack Miller; sister, Georgette Burchell; grandchildren, Courtney, Lindsey, Dylan & Christopher and great-granddaughters, Aubrey and Olivia.

Memorial Services will be held at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 20 at the Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 350 Provinceline Road, Wrightstown, NJ 08562 under the direction of Davis and Wagner Funeral and Cremation Services, Woodbury.
