Timothy M. Geraghty Of Forked River Dies At 49

Services for lifelong Lacey resident will be held on Thursday and Friday.

Timothy M. Geraghty, 49, of Forked River, passed away on Tuesday, April 28, 2015 at home surrounded by family.

Timothy was born in Point Pleasant and a lifelong resident of Forked River. He was an Iron Worker of Local 350 in Atlantic City and currently worked at Oyster Creek Power Plant. He was a parishioner of St. Pius X RC Church, Forked River and a coach for Lacey Pop Warner. Timothy always enjoyed weight lifting and was an amazing father to his sons.

Timothy was predeceased by his sister, Maureen Geraghty. He is survived by his two sons, Colin and Seth, mother Marie Geraghty, father Patrick Geraghty, two sisters, Colleen Gray and her late husband Harry Gray, Diane Wright and her husband Kevin and three brothers Patrick, Paul and Brian. Also surviving are his nieces and nephews, Mitchell, David and Katherine Gray, Sara and Elie Wright and the mother of his children and friend, Niki DiAngelo.

A viewing will be held from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Thursday, April 30, 2015 and Friday from 9:15 am. to 10 a.m. at the Bugbee-Riggs Funeral Home, 335 South Main St, Barnegat, NJ 08005. A Mass will be offered Friday, May 1, 2015 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Pius X RC Church, 300 Lacey Rd., Forked River, NJ 08731. Cremation will be private.
