Two Homes Burglarized In Forked River Recently, Police Chief Says
Both incidents are under investigation.

Lacey Township police are investigating burglaries at two Forked River homes recently, Police Chief Michael C. DiBella said.
The first incident occurred sometime between 10 a.m. on April 17 and April 19. Officer Scott Anderson responded to the 200 block of Good Luck Road on a criminal mischief report to a vacant house. The caller told police that an unknown person or persons forced entry into the home and damaged some items inside The front door was also damaged, the chief said.
The damage was estimated at over $500, he said.

The second incident happened sometime between 11 p.m. on April 17 and 8 a.m. on April 18. Officer Elton Copes responded to police headquarters to take a report. The homeowner reported that $46 was stolen from her purse at her house on the 1800 block of Binnacle Road, DiBella said.
There were no signs of forced entry. The homeowner named a suspect and the incident remains under investigation, he said.
