Underage Woman Hits Tree, Gets DWI In Lacey: Police
The 20-year-old woman hit a tree on Beach Boulevard, police said.
LACEY, N.J. — A woman under the legal drinking age struck a tree while driving intoxicated Monday night, according to Lacey police. Savannah L. Banks, 20, was charged with driving while intoxicated after the accident on the 900 block of Beach Boulevard, police said.
Officers Michael Baldasari, Julie Barcalow, and Christopher Meyler arrived to the scene to investigate the accident. Investigation led to Banks's arrest, police said. She was processed at police headquarters, according to authorities.
Banks, of Pensacola Road in Forked River, received summonses for DWI, underage DWI, reckless driving, failure to maintain lane and driving while suspended, police said. The vehicle she drove was impounded pursuant to John's Law, according to police.
