A very strange thing happened with the Lacey School Budget

A letter was sent to Trenton to an NJ DOE Commissioner stating 5 votes would be obtained on a new revised budget BUT no meeting was held!!

In my humble opinion, there are public matters being discussed not only behind closed doors but on personal cell phones via texting and calls. If you can read the above screenshot, how could Mr. Zylinski have possibly determined on May 27th without a BOE special meeting until June 4th that he was confident "WE" have 5 votes on a revised budget? This is just wrong- this should always be discussed in public.

Is this unethical? You decide. The Board President is also a party to these behind closed door decisions. She should have called a special meeting to discuss this issue in public!

Respectfully submitted,
