WARETOWN, NJ — The Waretown Branch of the Ocean County Library will host “America 250: Voices of Freedom” at 6 p.m. Monday, May 4, in a program tied to Memorial Day and the 250th anniversary of the United States.

According to the program announcement, the event will feature the Bell Choir from Frederic A. Priff Elementary. The choir is directed by the school’s music teacher and will perform a selection of patriotic songs.

The library said the performance is intended to honor those who have served the country and celebrate what the announcement describes as “the enduring spirit of freedom in our nation.” The event is also presented as a chance for the community to gather in remembrance, reflection and appreciation of American history.
