Where To Pick Your Own Blueberries In Lacey Township

Summer is here, which means fresh blueberries! Here are the details about picking your own here in Lacey.

LACEY, NJ — What could be better than enjoying fresh, local produce in the summer? Picking it yourself! And of course, this time of year is when New Jersey's state fruit is in season: blueberries. Luckily, there are a few places to do so right here in Lacey.

Lanoka Farms has now opened its "U Pick Blueberry Patch" for the season. Lanoka Farms, located at 611 US-9 in Lanoka Harbor (across from Walmart) is open daily from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. for blueberry picking.

Lanoka Farms is cash only. Guests are encouraged to bring their own bags and baskets but the farm does provide some. Visit their Facebook page for updated information.

Argos Farm in Forked River has reopened for the season and is hosting a "Blueberry Festival" from June 24 through July 10. The festival will be open Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

At the festival, guests can pick their own blueberries, plus enjoy attractions, treats and live music. Tickets cost $13.95 online and $18.95 in person, however, blueberry picking costs extra.
