LAKEWOOD, NJ β€” One person was injured in a structure fire on Sampson Avenue in Lakewood on Wednesday, authorities said.

Lakewood Police Capt. Gregory Staffordsmith said the extent of the person's injuries was not immediately known.

The fire was reported just before 2:15 p.m. Wednesday, Staffordsmith said. Roads were shut down in the area so emergency services could operate.
