Girl, 7, Hit By SUV In Lakewood: Police
Police said the girl was hit by a 2020 Jeep Grand Cherokee; the driver stopped and cooperated with authorities.

LAKEWOOD, NJ β A 7-year-old girl was injured Monday when she was hit by an SUV on County Line Road, Lakewood police said Thursday.
The girl was taken to a local trauma center for treatment, Lt. LeRoy Marshall said. He did not have an update on the girl's condition or the severity of her injuries.
The girl was hit about 5:30 p.m. near the intersection of East County Line Road and Squankum Road, he said. The driver of the 2020 Jeep Grand Cherokee was driving west on East County Line Road at the time; Marshall said the driver stayed at the scene and cooperated with authorities.

Officer Kenneth Schaal responded to the crash.
Marshall said anyone with information or who may have witnessed the incident is asked to call Traffic Safety Officer David Mercado at 732-363-0200.
