In Lakewood Community, Home Sales Picking Up Speed
A report looks at the quickening pace of real estate turnover in an age-restricted development in Lakewood. Is it influencing you to sell?

LAKEWOOD, NJ — Homes in The Enclave, an age-restricted community in Lakewood near Eagle Ridge Golf Course, are going up for sale with increasing speed, according to a report.
The Asbury Park Press reported more than 70 homes in the 349-home development off Massachusetts Avenue have sold in the last three years and more are expected to go on the market shortly, as residents concerned about overdevelopment, rising taxes and more are leaving the township.
A vast majority of the home purchases are by members of the Orthodox Jewish community, the report said, with those buying there saying it puts them in close reach of children and grandchildren in the township.
