Lakewood's Independence Day Celebration This Weekend: What To Know

LAKEWOOD, NJ — Lakewood Township will be hosting a unique Independence Day celebration this weekend.

The township is inviting residents to a celebration that includes a patriotic drone show from Orion Skys at Lake Carasaljo.

Here's what you need to know:

The drone show will begin at 8:45 p.m. and lead into the fireworks show at 9 p.m.

"This year’s Independence Day celebration will truly be unlike any the Township has ever hosted before,” Mayor Coles said in a statement. “We look forward to celebrating this historic national milestone together with our friends and neighbors from throughout the Lakewood region.”

The event is free and open to the public with the drone show being viewable from both North and South Lake Drives.
