The man tried to run but police found him hiding inside a dumpster.
LAKEWOOD, NJ — A Lakewood man has been charged after firing shots in the air at an apartment following an argument with his girlfriend early Thursday morning, police said.
Jeffrey Pleites-Sola was arrested following the incident on Woodlake Manor Drive that happened about 1:40 a.m., Lakewood Capt. Gregory Staffordsmith said.
A caller told police a man was standing outside threatening people with a handgun and had fired two shots in the air, Staffordsmith said. When police arrived, they heard five to seven gunshots fired inside the apartment, where there were "a number" of people, including the suspect, later identified as Sola.
