Man Killed In Lakewood Shooting: Prosecutor
The prosecutor's office released few details Sunday beyond what already had been confirmed.

LAKEWOOD, NJ — The Ocean County prosecutor's office on Sunday confirmed there is an ongoing homicide investigation into a shooting that happened Friday night at a home in Lakewood.
Details of the shooting remained scarce, however.
The shooting was reported at about 10:30 p.m. Friday, a news release from Ocean County Prosecutor Bradley D. Billhimer said. It happened at a residence on Lucy Road, according to an Asbury Park Press report.

Lakewood police found a 36-year-old man suffering from multiple gunshot wounds; he was taken to Monmouth Medical Center Southern Campus in Lakewood, where he was pronounced dead, the prosecutor's office said.
The Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office Major Crime Unit and the Ocean County Sheriff’s Department Crime Scene Investigation Unit responded and along with Lakewood police continue to investigate.
