Minivan Rolls Over Woman's Foot In Driveway In Lakewood
Lakewood police said she was reaching in to take the key out of the ignition when the vehicle rolled backward over her foot.

LAKEWOOD, NJ β A Lakewood woman was injured Sunday when her minivan rolled over her foot in her driveway, Lakewood police said.
The 62-year-old woman pulled into her Chateau Drive driveway about 9:45 p.m. Sunday and had unloaded packages from the back of her 2015 Toyota Sienna when she went to the front passenger door to take the key out of the ignition, Capt. Gregory Staffordsmith said.
As she was removing the key, the Toyota started rolling backward, pinning her left foot to the ground under the front tire on the passenger side, he said.

Arriving first responders from Hatzolah First Aid were able to free her by lifting the vehicle off of her foot, he said.
The woman was taken to Jersey Shore University Medical Center in Neptune for additional treatment for a possible broken foot, he said.
