'Suspicious' Death Of Woman In Leisure Village Probed: Prosecutor
The woman's body was found during a wellness check at the home, the prosecutor's office said.

LAKEWOOD, NJ β Authorities are investigating the death of a Lakewood woman whose body was found in a home in Leisure Village, the Ocean County Prosecutor's Office said Wednesday.
The identity of the woman, whose body was found Tuesday when authorities conducted a wellness check at the home on Thornbury Court, in the original Leisure Village community, has not been released.
"This is a suspicious death and this remains an active and ongoing investigation," Prosecutor Bradley D. Billhimer said. "There is no danger to the public and more information will be released when it becomes available."

Leisure Village is a gated, age-restricted community, with a security guard at the main gate.
Billhimer said the prosecutorβs office Major Crime Unit, Lakewood police and the Ocean County Sheriffβs Office Crime Scene Investigation Unit are investigating.
