$10 Starbucks Gift Card For Blood Donations At Quaker Bridge Mall

LAWRENCE TOWNSHIP, NJ — A blood donation drive will take place at the Quaker Bridge Mall in late August, and each donor will receive a $10 Starbucks gift card.

The donation drive will take place on Aug. 22, 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Busmobile near Lord and Taylor’s. The event is sponsored by New Jersey Blood Services, a division of the New York Blood Center, and the Quaker Bridge Mall.

“Recent events have demonstrated the need to always have an adequate supply of blood on hospital shelves,” New Jersey Blood Services said in the announcement. “Blood collected before major incidents is what is used when patients arrive at hospitals. Blood that is collected at the time of these events is helpful for subsequent surgeries and restocking shelves. Summer is the most difficult time of year to keep up the blood supply, so we encourage donors to take the time to donate now.”

To make an appointment, visit donate.nybc.org or call 1-800-933-BLOOD. Walk-ins are also welcome. Any potential donors age 16 years old must have a signed NJBS Parental Consent Form. All donors are reminded to eat and drink ahead of time, and bring their ID to the event. The Quaker Bridge Mall is located at 3320 Route 1 in Lawrence Township.
