2 Men Fatally Shot In Mercer County Friday Morning: Prosecutor
The Mercer County Homicide Task Force and the Trenton Police Department are investigating the double homicide.
MERCER COUNTY, NJ — Two men were fatally shot in Trenton on Friday morning, Mercer County Prosecutor Angelo J. Onofri said.
Around 9:30 a.m. on Friday, Oct. 29, Trenton police received a Shot Spotter activation for multiple rounds in the first block of Cleveland Avenue. On arrival, officers found two men had suffered gunshot wounds, Onofri said. One was pronounced dead at the scene, the other was transported to Capital Health Regional Medical Center where he was pronounced dead a short time later, according to authorities.
The Mercer County Homicide Task Force and the Trenton Police Department are investigating the double homicide.
