2 Mercer County Men Killed In Route 29 Crash: Report
A Hamilton man and an Ewing man died after their vehicles collided near Lower River Road, reports say.
MERCER COUNTY, NJ — Two Mercer County men died following a head-on collision on Route 29 in Ewing on Tuesday morning, according to media reports.
Kyle Alleger, 26, of Ewing, was killed at the scene when the crash occurred around 7:20 a.m. Jaysen Young, 23, of Hamilton, was transported to a hospital but succumbed to his injuries the following day, NJ.com reported.
According to the report, Young was traveling northbound on Route 29 in a Nissan when it struck Alleger's Ford. Alleger had been attempting to cross the northbound lanes from Lower River Road — just north of the Lower Ferry Road intersection — to merge into southbound traffic.
