27-Year-Old Man Dead After Street Stabbing In Mercer Co.: Prosecutor

Roger Martinez-Rodriguez was stabbed on Sunday night in Trenton. No arrests have been made, authorities said.

MERCER COUNTY, NJ — A 27-year-old Trenton resident died after being stabbed on the street Sunday night, Mercer County Prosecutor Angelo J. Onofri said.

Around 10:46 p.m. on Sunday, May 14, Trenton police responded to the 500 block of Second Street on a stabbing in progress.

On arrival, officers found Roger Martinez-Rodriguez suffering from a stab wound to the torso.He was Taken to Capital Health Regional Medical Center where he was pronounced dead a few hours later, Onofri said.

No arrests have been made. The Mercer County Homicide Task Force and the Trenton Police Department are currently investigating.
