3 Teenagers Charged In Fatal Shooting Of 15-Year-Old In Mercer County: Prosecutor
Murder and complicity charges have been filed in the fatal shooting of 15-year-old Maurice Wimbush-Jalaah.

Three teenagers have been charged in connection with the fatal shooting of 15-year-old Maurice Wimbush-Jalaah, Acting Mercer County Prosecutor Angelo J. Onofri and Trenton Police Director Ernest Parrey Jr. said on Wednesday.
Wilson George, 19, Jashawn Smith, 18, and Juprie Wadley, 19, all of Trenton, were charged with murder and complicity in the fatal shooting that took place on June 11.
Trenton Police found Wimbush-Jalaah on the ground while responding to Prospect Village for a report of a man shot at about 3:45 p.m. that day.

He was taken to Capital Health Regional Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.
Smith and Wadley were arrested while attempting to flee the scene, police said. They were charged with weapons offenses.

Following an investigation by the prosecutor’s office and the Mercer County Homicide Task Force, the murder and complicity charges were filed on Tuesday, police said.
George has been incarcerated since June.
Smith and Wadley were arrested again Wednesday morning in Trenton by members of the U.S. Marshals NY/NJ Regional Fugitive Task Force.
Bail was set for each at $1 million cash or bond.
