$30K In Cocaine, Gun Seized In Mercer County Bust: Prosecutor
Three people were charged after authorities found cocaine and a handgun at two different homes in Trenton.
MERCER COUNTY, NJ — Three people were charged and $30,000 in cocaine was seized in Mercer County after a three-month-long investigation, County Prosecutor Angelo J. Onofri said Thursday.
Around 5 p.m. on Wednesday, law enforcement executed search warrants at multiple locations in Trenton.
Jason Wilkins, 51, was detained in the kitchen of 90 Bellevue Avenue. While searching the home, 300 grams of powder cocaine and a scale was found, Onofri said.

During a search of a residence at 739 Roebling Avenue, detectives found a Smith & Wesson Model MP .40 caliber handgun with seven rounds of hollow-point ammunition, Onofri said. Roland Wilkins, 52, and Mary Bailey, 71, were detained at the residence.
Jason Wilkins was charged with first-degree narcotics and weapons offenses and transported to the Mercer County Correction Center pending a detention hearing. Jason’s brother, Roland Wilkins was charged with weapons offenses and taken to the MCCC. Bailey was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and released pending future court proceedings.

The investigation was conducted by the Mercer County Narcotics Task Force, the Mercer County Sheriff’s Office, the Drug Enforcement Administration, the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms & Explosives, and the Hamilton Police Division.
