5 To Run For 3 Open Seats On Lawrence Township Board of Education

All three incumbents are running for re-election. They face two challengers for their three-year seats.

LAWRENCE TOWNSHIP, NJ — A total of five people have filed petitions to run in this year’s Board of Education elections in the Lawrence Township Public School District.

All three incumbents are running for re-election for their three open seats that carry three-year terms, according to the Mercer County Clerk's Office.

Jose “Max” Ramos, Michele Bowes and Dana Drake all filed petitions by Monday’s 4 p.m. deadline to run in the general elections. They will be challenged by Kelly Edelstein and Glenn R. Collins.

Friday, Aug. 4, is the deadline for challenges to nominating petitions in this year’s school board elections. Election Day is Nov. 7.
