Alleged Weekend Sexual Assault at Rider University

The Mercer County Prosecutor’s Office and Lawrence Police are investigating the alleged sexual assault of a female student at Rider University, nj.com reports.

The alleged incident took place at Poyda residence hall on the university’s campus, and was reported early Sunday morning, according to the report.

The two people in the incident allegedly knew each other and there is no threat to the community at large, according to the report. No charges had been filed as of Monday afternoon.
