Amazon's New Delivery Station In Lawrence Township Is Now Open
To celebrate the opening, the retail giant donated to Lawrenceville–based nonprofit, The Bag Project.
LAWRENCEVILLE, NJ — Amazon’s new delivery station in Lawrenceville is now open, the company announced Monday.
The 340,000 square foot facility located at 10 Princess Road opened in late July. In February this year, Amazon announced its plans for a new delivery station in Lawrenceville and five other New Jersey towns.

The delivery stations help speed up deliveries for customers and packages are shipped to a delivery station from neighboring Amazon Fulfillment and Sortation Centers, a spokesperson from Amazon said.
The new delivery station is expected to create hundreds of full and part-time associate jobs.

To celebrate the opening, the retail giant donated to Lawrenceville –based The Bag Project – a nonprofit that provides necessities to children entering shelters or foster care. They also provide educational, emotional, and health services to at-risk children across Mercer County.
Amazon said it has invested more than $14.5 billion across New Jersey, including infrastructure and compensation.
