Cops Catch 3 Men Mid-Burglary At Mercer Business, Recover $400K

MERCER COUNTY, NJ — Three men were arrested after Hamilton police caught them in the middle of a burglary at Trane Corporation and recovered about $400,000 in stolen property, authorities said.

Kyle Williams, 28, Jayson Williams, 29, and Francisco Gonzalez, 27, were each charged with third-degree burglary and second-degree theft, according to Hamilton Police. All three were taken to the Mercer County Correctional Facility.

Detectives from the division's Anti-Crime Unit, with help from the Criminal Investigation Section, carried out a coordinated investigation into a burglary and theft at the company on Sept. 25, police said.

Investigators used both physical and digital surveillance, which led them to the suspects and the vehicle involved. During the surveillance operation, investigators watched the three men removing items from the Trane Corporation, police said. Officers stepped in while the theft was still happening.

Around 1:43 a.m. on Sept. 25, officers stopped a silver pickup truck with New Jersey registration near Liberty Street and Chambers Street, police said. About $400,000 in stolen property was recovered as a result of the investigation.
