LAWRENCE TOWNSHIP, NJ — Grab the costumes. Trunk or Treat is back in Lawrence this week.
The event runs from 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 22, at Lawrence High School. It's hosted by the Lawrence Township Police Department, Lawrence Recreation and Lawrence Township Public Schools.
Families are invited to come dressed in their Halloween best and go car to car collecting treats from decorated trunks. There will also be food and music.
The event will be held rain or shine.
Residents who want to set up a trunk can register with Patrolman Campbell at ncampbell@lawrencetwp.com.
Organizers ask anyone decorating a trunk to bring plenty of treats for visitors.
