Applications Open For 2023-24 Preschool Program In Lawrence Township

The preschool programs will be located at Ben Franklin Elementary School and Lawrenceville Elementary School.

LAWRENCEVILLE, NJ — The Lawrence Township Public School District is currently accepting applications for the 2023–2024 preschool programs. The program is open to 3- and 4-year-olds.

The preschool programs will be located at Ben Franklin and Lawrenceville Elementary Schools and will also serve children with special needs.

The Ben Franklin program will meet from 9:30 a.m. to 3:20 p.m., Monday through Friday, and the Lawrenceville Elementary program will meet from 8:30 a.m. to 2:20 p.m., Monday through Friday.

Preschool tuition in the school district is $770 per month and bus transportation will not be provided. Residents can apply for the lottery for tuition. There will also be a lottery for students of eligible low-income families.

To be eligible for the program, children must be at least 3 or 4 years old, be a resident of Lawrence Township, and be toilet trained.

Preschool applications are available at the Board of Education office at 2565 Princeton Pike., Ben Franklin Elementary School main office at 2939 Princeton Pike, Lawrenceville Elementary School main office at 40 Craven Lane.

A completed application needs to be returned to Rebecca Guenther, Supervisor, Department of Student Services, 2565 Princeton Pike, Lawrenceville, no later than Feb. 28, 2023.
